Chicago Teachers College Scholarship (Must be freshmen who intend to be Education majors)

• This endowed scholarship is available to new freshman students (first semester at NEIU) who are U.S. citizens and residents of the State of Illinois.
• Applicants must be committed to pursuing a career in Education.
• A letter of recommendation is required and must be written by either the principal, teacher, counselor, coach, or club adviser of the high school that the applicant attended. The letter must speak to the student’s leadership qualities and academic accomplishments.
