The Dr. Maurice G. Guysenir Award (Must be a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and be either a Declared, an Intended or Pre-Major within Teacher Education)

a) Currently enrolled and in good standing at Northeastern Illinois University.
b) Must have an earned cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
c) Must currently be a declared Pre-Major or Major in a degree program within Teacher Education.
d) First preference is given to a returning veteran of a branch within the United States Armed Forces.
