Brommel-Miller Teaching As Transformation Scholarship
This scholarship helps with the cost of tuition, books and fees, and is available to undergraduate students in the College of Education with a declared major that leads to teaching certification and evidence of steady academic progress toward a degree completion. Preference will be given to students with a declared double major (secondary education) or minor (elementary education) in the humanities. Applicants must meet these criteria:
1. must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.25
2. must write an essay describing how he/she has contributed to/volunteered in his/her community or a community in need. Essay must include reasons why the applicant wants to teach
3. must provide two letters of recommendation are from references with first-hand knowledge of applicant’s contribution to/volunteer work in the community.
