Brommel-Feigenholtz Scholarship in Political Science

This scholarship is available to one of the top students enrolled at Northeastern Illinois University majoring in Political Science, who demonstrates the potential to continue in the field of Political Science at the graduate level. The scholarship is to be used to help with the costs of tuition, books, and/or fees.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. must submit a one-page typed, double-spaced (12 point font) statement describing their plans for graduate school and a brief description of their tentative areas of study
2. must submit a double-spaced (12 point font) two-to-three page analytical essay using any political concept or theory to demonstrate how they would solve a major societal problem or, more generally, construct a more just society
3. must be a junior or senior enrolled full-time or part-time for a minimum of six credit hours)
4. junior applicants must have completed 90 or more hours by the end of the current spring semester
5. senior applicants must have two or more semesters remaining prior to graduation to be eligible The scholarship shall be used towards the costs of tuition, book, and/or fees.
