Daniel K. Kuzuhara Hope Center Scholarship (MUST be an Undergraduate Major in Anthropology or Psychology; Graduate Major in Gerontology or Counselor Ed.)
This endowed scholarship is available to undergraduate (junior or senior-level students) and to graduate students* in the social behavioral sciences.
Applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.50.
Undergraduate applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields of psychology or anthropology.
Graduate students must be majoring in either gerontology or counselor education.
Three letters of recommendation and a personal statement are required for this scholarship.
Please provide a personal statement, no more than 6 double-spaced typed pages. Please answer the following question: What are your personal strengths and weaknesses? And, what is the most serious social problem in the U.S. today, why, and what can be done to effectively address this problem? Finally, what are your career objectives and how are career objectives related to previous answers?
